PRESS RELEASE
Each year, Million Air presents awards to one FBO in its network and two front line employees who have been nominated for recognition of their service excellence. The awards are presented to the FBO of the Year, Line Service Professional of the Year, and Customer Service Professional of the Year.
Managers from across the Million Air network submit nominations and explain why the individual is worthy of the award. Accordingly, Million Air is pleased to announce this year’s outstanding team and team members are:
Million Air FBO of the Year – Million Air El Paso (KELP)
Million Air Customer Service Professional of the Year – Mari Jo Brant, Million Air Orlando
Million Air Line Service Professional of the Year – Frank Rivera, Million Air White Plains
Million Air at El Paso International Airport was selected out of Million Air’s network of 36 FBO locations. Award recipients are selected based on exceptional customer care, teamwork, positive attitudes, and exemplary representation of the Million Air brand. Key factors include safety awareness, an accident-free record, strong annual reviews, and customer feedback. The selection process rigorously reviews quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction metrics, with the award going to the FBO that best embodies Million Air’s culture and standards.
“Paul Foster has made an extraordinary investment in El Paso with a new hangar and FBO facility, creating a beautiful gateway to the community for private travelers,” said Allison Woolsey, Chief Brand Officer. “Million Air El Paso stands out in our network this year for their dedication to customer service, growth in customer base, and commitment to bringing our brand to life in this new location.”
Mari Jo Brant, known affectionately as “Mama Jo” by many of our junior team members, has been a cornerstone of the Million Air Orlando Customer Service Department since 2021. With a background as an aviator and former flight attendant, she brings a wealth of experience and warmth to every interaction, passionately building relationships with customers. Her dedication and spirit have made her a beloved figure at Million Air Orlando, earning her the title of CSR of the Year.
Frank Rivera, our Line Service Professional of the Year from Million Air White Plains, has been an invaluable member of our team for nearly 20 years. A true role model and natural leader, Frank exemplifies dedication and teamwork, often volunteering to support other locations across our network during high-traffic events. His commitment and willingness to go above and beyond make him an essential part of the Million Air family.
Considerations used in determining the winning recipients include the employee’s care of customers and their ability to perform service par excellence. Recognition is also given for creating an environment of teamwork, the preservation of outstanding customer service while using a positive attitude and being an outstanding ambassador of Million Air. Lastly, a safety-minded attitude and approach that reflects an accident-free record, along with top rated annual reviews and customer comments are important elements as well.
“We have built our FBO network on one basis alone – outstanding and truly memorable service – the sort that keeps people not only remembering to come back, but also telling others about their experience,” said Roger Woolsey, Million Air CEO. “The teams we have assembled and the training they have received makes them consistently among the best in this business. While all our team members are truly outstanding, there are always a few who truly stand out and are deserving of recognition. An award like this places thanks where it is due. I am truly glad to know each of these people and have them as part of the Million Air team.”
