Pryor Field Airport Authority has officially launched the Pryor Flight Center Aircraft Maintenance Division, expanding the services available at Pryor Field Regional Airport and providing aircraft owners and operators across North Alabama and the Southeast with a new option for aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs and avionics services.
The new division is open and actively scheduling aircraft, with capabilities supporting business aviation, turboprops and general aviation aircraft.
“Our goal is simple: provide aircraft owners and operators with a maintenance partner they can depend on and get their aircraft back in the air as quickly as possible,” said Adam Fox, CEO of Pryor Field Airport Authority.
“We have assembled an experienced team, and we are ready for customers to start bringing us their maintenance needs. Whether it is an upcoming inspection, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting or an unexpected AOG situation, we want operators to call us and give our team the opportunity to support them.”
The maintenance team brings more than 75 years of combined aviation maintenance experience and offers a growing range of services, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repair, avionics installations and upgrades, avionics service and repair, and AOG and emergency maintenance support.
Located at Pryor Field Regional Airport between Huntsville and Decatur, Alabama, the new maintenance operation is positioned in the heart of North Alabama’s rapidly growing aviation and aerospace corridor, with convenient access to Interstate 65.
For Fox, the new maintenance operation represents another step toward making Pryor Field a more complete aviation services destination. “Pilots and operators shouldn’t have to look several states away or wait months just to find someone who can take care of their aircraft,” Fox said. “We want Pryor Flight Center to become the first call operators make when they know maintenance is coming due. Your aircraft. Your schedule. Our expertise.”
