One Air Aviation consolidates its “Next Generation” fleet by integrating the new Tecnam P2006T NG
PRESS RELEASE
Tecnam is proud to announce that One Air Aviation, a leading European pilot school based in Spain, has selected the new Tecnam P2006T NG to finalize its cutting-edge, unified training fleet.
This latest acquisition is a strategic milestone for the Málaga-based Approved Training Organization (ATO).
Having recently been confirmed as the Launch Customer for the new P2008JC NG (with an order of four aircraft), One Air is now seamlessly expanding its “Next Generation” capabilities into multi-engine training.
The “Next Generation” Advantage By combining the P2008JC NG for initial flight phases with the P2006T NG for advanced multi-engine instruction, One Air is establishing one of the most technologically advanced and consistent learning paths in Europe.
This unified “Next Gen” approach is built on the shared technological DNA of both aircraft, providing significant benefits for both the academy and its cadets:
Fuel-Injected Power: Both platforms utilize the advanced Rotax 912 iSc injected engine, guaranteeing outstanding fuel efficiency, smooth power delivery, exceptional reliability, and a significantly reduced environmental footprint.
Seamless Avionics Transition: Cadets train on the Garmin G3X glass cockpit from day one in the P2008JC NG.
Because both aircraft share the intuitive Garmin ecosystem logic, students can carry their avionics mastery directly into the Garmin G1000 NXi-equipped P2006T NG, ensuring a smooth transition to their multi-engine rating without having to relearn entirely different flight deck interfaces.
Advanced Automation: The new P2006T NG features the latest Garmin autopilot system, ensuring that students learn to manage modern, airline-standard automated flight operations in a high-performance environment.
For One Air, the P2006T NG represents the final piece of a sustainable and technologically superior training environment that perfectly mirrors the cockpit of modern commercial airliners.
Agustín Cabanillas, CEO and Head of Training at One Air Aviation, emphasized the strategic vision behind the acquisition:
“Following our landmark agreement as the First World Launch Customer for the P2008JC NG, the addition of the P2006 NG was the natural next step in our expansion. We are committed to providing a seamless, high-tech experience for our students, and Tecnam’s Next Generation line is a key in that vision. This investment reinforces One Air’s position as a leading European ATO, offering a fleet of 32 state-of-the-art aircraft that sets a new standard in pilot training excellence.”
One Air’s current Tecnam fleet already consists of eight P2008JC MKII Premium and one P2006T MKII Premium.
With the delivery of the four P2008JC NGs and this newly acquired P2006T NG, their total Tecnam fleet will reach 14 aircraft.
For One Air, the P2006T NG represents the final piece of a high-performance, sustainable, and technologically superior training environment that perfectly mirrors the cockpit of modern airliners.
Walter Da Costa, Tecnam Chief Sales Officer, celebrated the strengthening partnership:
“We are exceptionally proud to see One Air Aviation take this ambitious step. Following their milestone as the launch customer for the P2008JC NG, adding the P2006T NG creates an unparalleled, seamless training environment. One Air is demonstrating true leadership in the European market by standardizing on our ‘Next Generation’ platforms. They are offering their students the ultimate transition from single-engine fundamentals to advanced multi-engine operations, all backed by cutting-edge Garmin technology, supreme cabin ergonomics, and unmatched operational efficiency.”
