Execaire Aviation becomes first business aviation operator in Canada to receive transport Canada approval for RNP AR approaches on the Global 7500

Execaire Aviation is proud to announce a groundbreaking achievement in Canadian business aviation: the company has become the first business aviation operator in Canada to secure Transport Canada approval for Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required (RNP AR) approach operations on the Bombardier Global 7500.
This approval also marks the first time any Canadian business aviation operator has obtained RNP AR authorization for any aircraft type across its fleet.
This advanced Special Authorization issued under Execaire Aviation’s Air Operator Certificate establishes a new national benchmark for navigational capability, precision approach operations, and technological leadership within the business aviation sector.
It will also serve as the operational template for expanding RNP AR authorization across additional fleet types within Execaire Aviation’s diverse operation, including other long-range business jets.
RNP AR approaches allow for highly precise, curved, and repeatable flight paths into challenging airports and environments. This capability enhances operational flexibility, enables more efficient routing, reduces environmental impact, and increases approach reliability, particularly in mountainous or terrain-restricted regions.
